Terms of Use

By using the file transfer service provided (referred to as "the Service"), you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

1. Use of the Service:
   • You are permitted to access and use the Service to transfer encrypted files between computers.
   • As a sender, you may select local files for encryption and initiate the transfer process.
   • Files selected for transfer are stored temporarily in your local browser cache, specifically IndexedDB.
2. File Sharing:
   • As a sender, you may share the generated URL containing the encrypted file with intended recipients.
   • Recipients can access the shared URL to receive and decrypt the file.
3. Downloading and Saving Files:
   • Recipients may download and save the decrypted file locally once the transfer is complete.
4. Privacy and Data Security:
   • The Service does not use cookies for tracking or identification purposes.
   • However, the Service may utilize analytics software to collect and store IP addresses and browser events for the purpose of improving service quality and user experience.
5. User Accounts:
   • The Service does not require or provide user accounts. All usage is anonymous.
6. Intellectual Property:
   • The Service is developed using Open Source software; however, the entire source code of the Service except open source code remains the property of the Provider.
   • The current Provider of the Service is Private Entrepreneur Oleksii Radetskyi, with the email address [email protected], registered in Ukraine.
7. User Accountability:
   • Users are solely responsible for the content they choose to encrypt and transfer using the Service.
   • You must not use the Service for any unlawful, unethical, or unauthorized purposes.
8. User Conduct:
   • Users must conduct themselves in a manner that does not disrupt or interfere with the operation of the Service.
   • Any abusive, harassing, or malicious behavior towards other users or the Service itself is strictly prohibited.
9. Compliance with Laws:
   • Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing data privacy, encryption, and file sharing in their jurisdiction.
10. Disclaimer:
    • The Service does not store the symmetric key of encryption or the contents of transferred files.
    • Users acknowledge that the Service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.
11. Modification of Terms:
    • These terms of use may be updated or modified at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
12. Termination of Service:
    • The Service reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, with or without cause.

By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must refrain from using the Service.
